Krzysztof Piatek came on for his Milan debut in the second half of the clash with Napoli on Saturday night, and it’s fair to say that the Pole made an immediate impression.
The 23-year-old was introduced in the 72nd minute at San Siro, replacing Patrick Cutrone up front to lead the line as the Rossoneri went in search of a winner.

As seen in the short clip below, Piatek showed some early flashes of what he’ll be able to offer us, with his movement off the ball and runs in behind causing problems for both Kalidou Koulibaly and Raul Albiol.
Further, he also showed a surprising turn of pace to get away from the Napoli duo, while his first touch is something that impressed at Genoa as it allows him to create space for himself or to get away from his marker.
Admittedly, it’s only a couple minutes worth of an insight for now, but there is no denying that we can walk away from the goalless draw picking out Piatek’s immediate impact as one of the positives from the game.
