Albeit not entirely convincing, Milan secured a 2-1 win over Chievo on Saturday night to solidify their place in third spot in the Serie A table.
Lucas Biglia gave us the lead in the first half with a stunning free-kick, as seen in the video below, with the Argentine stalwart producing a perfectly placed effort into the top corner.

After a long injury layoff, the 33-year-old put in an immense performance in general to arguably emerge as the Man of the Match, giving Gennaro Gattuso a potential headache moving forward in terms of whether he or Tiemoue Bakayoko start in the heart of the midfield.
Milan switched off to allow Perparim Hetemaj to find an equaliser before the break, with Andrea Conti not doing enough to prevent the Chievo man from bringing his side level as he struggled for the most part before sensibly being replaced after the interval.
Nevertheless, it was Krzysztof Piatek who proved to be decisive yet again, as he pounced on a chance in the second half to take his goal tally for the season up to 27.

Although he was left isolated for large periods of the encounter and was quiet, the Polish forward proved his importance yet again with the winning goal to guarantee us third place ahead of the Derby della Madonnina next weekend.
