Video: Tiemoue Bakayoko bags first Milan goal with brilliant header vs Inter

Milan were poor as they fell two goals behind against Inter in the Derby della Madonnina on Sunday night, but Tiemoue Bakayoko gave them hope of launching a comeback.

The Rossoneri looked disorganised defensively and tentative in possession in the opening 45 minutes, with Matias Vecino giving Inter the lead.

Stefan de Vrij doubled their advantage shortly after the break, but Bakayoko momentarily gave us hope of a comeback after producing a brilliant header to find the back of the net, as seen in the video below.

It was his first for us since joining on loan from Chelsea last summer, as he continues to make a strong case to secure a permanent move at the end of the season.

Unfortunately, hope of such a comeback didn’t last long as Lautaro Martinez scored from the penalty spot just minutes later to restore Inter’s two-goal lead.

Mateo Musacchio responded as we pushed for a late equaliser, but we’ll undoubtedly have ourselves to blame as our lacklustre start to the encounter proved costly as we slipped to defeat.

The loss sees us drop back down to fourth place, with Roma still four points adrift.
