Milan could reportedly consider a move for Sassuolo ace Jeremie Boga this summer, while his agent has responded to speculation over a switch to San Siro.
The 23-year-old has impressed this season as he has eight goals and four assists in 25 appearances, and with the Rossoneri struggling for goals having managed just 28 in 26 Serie A games, adding attacking reinforcements could be a smart strategy this summer.

According to MilanNews, Milan are potentially preparing to make their move for the talented winger, while it’s noted that Sassuolo could demand around €20m for their prized asset.
Further, there is the possibility that our pursuit could be complicated by Chelsea, who are said to have a buy-back option on the Ivory Coast international, although it’s suggested in the report that his preference would be to remain in Italy.
With that in mind, it remains to be seen if Milan and Sassuolo can reach an agreement, and if Boga can be convinced over a switch to join us to be an important part of our plans moving forward to return to the Champions League and start competing for major trophies again.
It could be questioned as to whether it’s a necessary move given we already have Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao who can be deployed on the left wing, while Hakan Calhanoglu has often played there too.
With a lack of competition and cover on the right side to push Samu Castillejo, that’s arguably an area in more immediate need of improvement, although Boga has shown previously that he can play on that flank too.
That said, Calciomercato spoke to his agent shortly after the Milan rumours surfaced, and he seemingly downplayed the chances of a move to the Rossoneri as he hasn’t had contact with the club and naturally will await to see what happens this summer amid ongoing rumours of major changes.
“As far as AC Milan are concerned, I haven’t had any contact with them yet. I don’t know if they are really interested in Jérémie,” he told them. “You have to look at what the sporting project will be, but Milan is a great club. It can always be interesting.”
Time will tell if Boga is an option for us this summer, but what is certain at this stage is that our struggling attack needs more quality to ensure we’re more prolific moving forward.
